Sgt Prep is an independent, offline-first educational study application. It does not require a Sgt Prep account and does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.
Quiz performance, mastery estimates, mock-exam history, flashcard scheduling, bookmarks, notes, Assessment Center self-scores, practice history, optional audio recordings, and optional transcripts are stored locally on the user's device.
Microphone access is optional and is used only to record Assessment Center practice responses. Speech-recognition access is optional. When transcription is requested, the app requires Apple's on-device speech recognition. If on-device recognition is unavailable for the device or language, a transcript is not created.
Sgt Prep Pro is offered as a one-time non-consumable in-app purchase. Purchase processing and entitlement information are handled by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Sgt Prep does not operate its own payment server and does not receive payment-card information.
Sgt Prep does not automatically upload study history, recordings, or transcripts to a Sgt Prep server. It contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs. The in-app Report an Issue feature prepares report text locally and opens the iOS share sheet only when the user chooses to share it. The user controls the destination.
Local data remains on the device until the user deletes it, resets local app data, or removes the app. In the app, open More → Legal & Privacy → Data Controls to delete Assessment recordings and history or reset local study data.
Users may revoke microphone or speech-recognition permission in iOS Settings. Revoking permission does not automatically delete files already stored locally; use the in-app Data Controls to delete them.
If a future version adds accounts, cloud sync, third-party analytics, advertising, server-based transcription, or other data handling, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before that version is distributed.
